New piece

Just finished this piece. I call it “Out of the Blue.” I was working on another piece when this said finish me. So, I set aside the other piece.

It is 99% wool. I crochet the piece first then felt it and then embellish them with bead/baubles and non-felting yarns. I many times work novelties yarns in with the wool so when it gets felted it bubbles to the top (because it does not felt its self).

It is actually my favorite part of making them too. The thought process of seeing in my minds eye as I crochet them how they will look once they are felted. So many variables because of the Wool and the addition of non-felting novelty yarns makes it somewhat unpredictable.
