A depiction of my own experience with selective mutism. The anxiety and panic I feel and the inability to move any muscle or make a sound are something I wouldn't wish someone to have. It made me lose my life, hope, and future due to this fear. The woman stares into the source of light, wishing she could be free from anxiety's grasp or rather from herself.

Super strong piece. I see the feelings you stated in this, but when I first saw it, I felt safety, like she was being embraced by a motherly force.
