I’m what I call a doodler always drawing little things leaning more to cartoony…now I want to do more and get better
I’m getting a digital table today and had a question…are there any video or book or classes that have exercises people have used to help hone skills, weather it be life drawing, painting, anything. If I’m left to figure out on my own I’m afraid I’ll get frustrated and not do it
Thanks you for any help

I'm a little older than you (and self-taught), so I resorted to looking at a lot of art and a couple of old books. I think the cartooning book was by Hal Tollison. Very simple. (And the 1960s Grumbacher Library Series.) Back then, there wasn't an internet or YouTube, but now there is, and there are countless videos out there that can help. I'm sure there are people here that can point you. Or, just go on YouTube and search for tutorials. Most people here came from another large forum where there was a lot more guidance and they may know how to access tutorials.
