This is a 3" x 5" pen & ink sketch drawn in Sept 2008 to meet the criteria "in the news". If you would like to guess who this is here is a clue. He was a very successful player but failed as a captain.

It's a very good portrait, I really like the detail in the face and the hair. I'm afraid I don't know who it is though.

Thank you Jo. And well done. It is Nick Faldo who was an outstanding golfer, but had a disastrous stint as a Ryder Cup captain.
