Wow. thank you Sno, Grapes, Donna, and Ayin. I can’t take credit as the reference photo simply showed nature’s splendour so I had it all in reference. I fished that lake a lot when I was younger.

Hey Wayne, lots of us use photos for reference but we can’t all interpret them like you do. Your textural strokes of paint help me feel that icy, blustery day more than any photo ever could.
Thank you .. I am trying hard to paint the painting once instead of a dozen times. ie.. leave it alone and make a few tweaks when done instead of fine tuning every passage to death. Glad to hear it shows.
