18x24 on 246lb textured linen paper using SoHo HB Acrylics with big brush, alla prima using a dry brush technique. For those of you familiar with the South Western High Country, the sky in this piece speaks to a very, very hot sunny day 😎 with not so much as a slight breeze! The bright sunlight produces many local color reflections from objects within the High Country.

Love the sky. (you're very good with skies.) This almost looks abstract, with that saturated ribbon of hills against that rich sky, and then the foreground mix of colors. Sadly, I don't think I've experienced that type of reflection.
Tell us again, please, what type and brand of brush it is that you use for your big brush style?

Thanks laika - appreciated. My "go to " big brush is a Purdy 2 inch angled trim brush from Home Depot - I also use this brush for painting chores around the house.
