Painted during a 2-part YouTube video demo by Stuart Davies. I believe he is British but now he resides in France as an artist, work shop teacher and a YouTube video demo presenter. He has a very "dry" British sense of humor 
but non the less is a very good teacher.
18x24 on 246lb textured linen paper using SoHo HB Acrylics with a cheap 2 inch Home Depot natural bristled brush - alla prima using mostly a dry brush technique. A lot of blending of color was done directly on the surface, with a fine spritz of water necessary once in a while to assist the color blending.
