That’s a good thought, it’s just white—kind of yellow photograph. I wonder about a soft jade? Thoughts anyone?

Would a soft jade compete with the leaf? I think your tendency to make your flowers with simple or no backgrounds is spot on. They are the star of the show. Other color elements could distract, or lessen the impact.

This is beautiful just as is, IMO. Loving this tender, soft rosy-purple! The yellow center is perfect. Wonderful work.

I agree with Terri. It doesn't need a background. But then I always find it difficult to leave them off of mine. If you do decide to do one, consider using the complementary color. So then a sunny yellow with a very light hand??? Or maybe a pretty lime green that leans yellow??? Your call.
