Experiments with Inktense

I have been doing some experimenting with Inktense Pencils recently. I start with a freehand pencil sketch, then add some ink using a very fine Pigma Micron 005 pen. Sometimes I put the dry pencil down first but more recently I have been using them like watercolor. I scribble on a Caran D'Ache pallete and then pick the color up with a damp brush. These are all roughly about 5" x 7".

Very pretty, you did well with new technique and equipment. You draw so well. I'm smiling -- even at bugs!

Terrific sketches, Anne! I like your bugs. :) Your shading and the shadows are very well done.

You really have the magic touch with these, Anne. Your delicate style shows through!

These are beautiful - each one is a real little treasure. I love the shadow under the praying mantis too!

These are all very well done, Anne. This technique suits you well. ❤️ ❤️
