Decided to keep them in one thread .. added a smaller view to give the distance effect of standing back.

These are so lush and beautiful! I love your greens, as always, but these each contain special little touches that make them pop - namely, the pinks in the sky of the top one and the bits of yellow in the foreground of the bottom. Yay!

Also admiring the line of rocks in the foreground of the top one. Well done! ❤️

Thank you Terri.
Little sparkles. Seems sparkles catch all eyes, ours and animals. Glad you see the rocks. Very minimal in detail but enough to let you see.

Thank you Donna. More than likely I have as the places are local to me. No big travel involved. Looking at these and the one I did today I feel I have made my brushwork smaller and I will have to enlarge it again as I like the larger painterly effect more. They are still painterly but the color separation is not as obvious.

Hey Wayne, I’m just curious if you have ever done landscapes in a square format, like 11x11 for your size paper. They kind of have a contemporary feel and it might be an interesting thing to try sometime.

Actually no. I use the 11 x 14 as they come in pad but I could always cut 3 inches off. Right now I a using the backside of failed paintings and some have oil in places so I will have to use some unusual sizes coming up as I can’t paint acrylic over oil. It will be interesting to see how I can save some of the page to make a painting. I will for sure make a square for your eyes sometime in the week.
