Old drawing I did in Bordeaux, France. This drawing and photos bring back good memories.
I also did a pleinair of this statue called Monument aux Girondins but the pleinair turned out even worst 😂.

That's a difficult drawing that I also think you captured really well Grapes. Oh and I adore your cat.. she's so beautiful. 🐾

Jade, thank you so much!
Didn't she find a perfect place to sit while I was drawing. She stayed there until I was done. I was surprised 🙀 There was water dropping right next to her and I thought she wouldn't tolerate that. But she was calm, no problem at all. No drops of water were falling over her tho.

You did a good sketch , Grapes, of a difficult subject. All those curves and shadows! Your cat is as beautiful as ever. I tried putting a harness like that on my old cat and he refused to move in it. He flattened himself like a pancake and pouted.

Drawing reminds me of parts of Anghiari. That looks like one cool cat. I often see a lady in the village where I live walking with a cat on a leash, I like seeing it.

Wayne, thanks so much!

Donna, thanks. Some cats just won't take it. When mine has hers on, she starts running like a space shuttle - meaning that in a second she forgets it's on. I'm glad it's that way so we can take her out for walks almost daily and she likes her time outdoors so much.

Joy, thanks! 🙏 Kitty "meows" for thanks.

Thanks, Mayben, more and more nowadays ppl take their cats for a walk instead letting them run free. I googled Anghiari and the map directs me in-between Florence and Perugia. Those lands are perfect for pleinair - pleinair painter's dream!
