Blackberry blacklight experiment

So, exploring an idea I had at work today and tried it out when I got home.
Used a clamp light with a blacklight for the bulb.
Turned the light facing up for one view, placed a piece of glass from a picture frame across the top and put the blackberry on top.
Turned the light to the side for the other view, left the blackberry on the glass.
Shot the pics with my "old" Pixel 4A phone.
Results were pretty cool, no photo editing at all.

I like your idea. There are so many naturally fluorescent molecules in plants and rocks you could explore with this technique. May I suggest you make yourself a gin and tonic as a reward for this idea? Then, before you drink it, put the drink on the glass with the UV light on. The quinine in the tonic water is fluorescent and gives a beautiful glow in the dark.

Thanks Terri and Hermes!
Yes as another side hobby I enjoy woodworking and shooting slingshots.
To further illustrate your point, here is one I made for a buddy out of Staghorn Sumac.
I'd seen that this wood has a natural florescence under UV light.
This had a quite dramatic effect...before/after...
