These both feel haunted in a way, the buildings betray a sort of disturbed presence, while the trees with sow make me feel of animisation of nature, i think your color choices are especially good for the second one.

What a shame, the roof has fallen in. Once a place is abandoned, it decays pretty rapidly. Makes for great painting though. And the Watering Hole is great. That dark opening is both inviting and foreboding. I like both of these.

Thank you Paupka. The second was a combo of fall and winter and I overplayed the fall color intentionally.

The house looks like the farm where we stayed in 2003 in central Nova Scotia! We had a great time. I like the pond, there was one at the house, too. Thanks for the memories.
