Wow - Hermes, Donna thanks you! This painting was a long time in the making. I liked the poster for Reservoir Dogs - high contrast,six guys in suits walking barren background. So I tried to mimic it but using dogs. I concentrated on getting their postures and grouping the same - but as it turns out dogs have a different anatomy than humans so it took a long time to approximate it. Then it just wasn't working with hi-contrast no background , - so I cycled thru many variations and it sat for a month until I landed on this.
