I think it's true that it has no rules or limitations. Or at least that SHOULD be the case. I think some people create the implication that there's rules and limits though, and unfortunately some artists get trapped in that, in seeking recognition.

I agree with the boat idea. I like how you can see this one multiple ways. On one hand, it looks like flowers in a bowl, on a desk perhaps. But on the other, it looks like flowers in a boat drifting in the water with some foliage in the background. I love the colors too. Very nice!
