This is my latest commission, just finished. Was very hard to get a likeness on the girl because, even though the image is about 8X10 1/2, the face is only about an inch and a half. Makes for difficult drawing, the width of a pencil lead can make a big difference at that size. This is a scan so...

Very good! You have good contrast with the foreground tree that makes it stand away from the background and gives it almost a 3D effect. Well done. ❤️ ❤️

You have a great start. People are very hard to draw or paint when the faces are so small. I know! Just take your time on it. Sand is best just painted with shading and then add just a suggestion of details here and there. You've got a good start there too. 👍
