Joy...Try it.
Ten minutes is actually quite a long time.
You could use my sketch as a reference. Start by doing only the outlines of all the trees as one shape. Next do the outlines of the building in front, and then the one behind. And depending on how much time you still have, you could...
This is a watercolour painting that I did in Dec 2019 on A3 size 300 gsm cold pressed watercolour paper. I used several photos on the internet as reference for this.
Thank you Joy.

This is a ten minute 4" x 5" pen and ink sketch, done with a black ink gel pen. I sketched this in May 2024 when my hand was very unsteady and I was just starting on my ten minute sketches in the hope that it would help steady my hand.
It did, but only after I had spent many weeks doing five or...
Joy, that is very modest of you. You actually took several decisions which resulted in such a pleasing painting: limiting the number of colours, your choice of colours, how you used them, and the placement of the elements in your painting.
This is a corner tower in a building in Vienna. My reference was a black and white photo, which I last saw nineteen months ago. I did the 4" x 5" ink sketch in less than ten minutes in May 2024 using a black ink gel pen, and added the watercolour washes a few days ago.
Thank you Joy.
I do have lots of books, and lots of loose sheets, filled with drawings. I have hardly ever throuwn away any of my artwork over the last twenty three years. But not all of them are beautiful.
