WIP Not a Birthday Cake, anymore

This is a small oil painting, 30 cm square canvas. It started life as a birthday cake, some little girls and a bushy park. Then aliens kept appearing out of the candles. Then a cave opened up on the left, and obliterated the little waterfall. I recall painting similar bodies years ago, in oil pastel.

The painting has more depth than my little tablet has captured.

Those pesky aliens show up everywhere - even In birthday candles. I love how you go wherever your mind takes you and this piece is really cool!
