There is so much atmosphere in this! More layers of paint and more layers of light. The spot where the path dissolves into the woods is the best. This is gorgeous!

Thank you Donna and Liz. I think I like letting it sit over nite and then adding better lighting.

When you say you want to add better lighting, to what part of the painting do you want to add it?

Hi Liz, that was after the first pass. Normally I call it done at that point. Alla
Prima. Lately, I find if I leave it and acrylics darken a little when dry I can spruce up all the accents next date that create the light. That’s the second pass where I awaken the light.

Very well done. I agree, the path is inviting, adding movement into the light. The foliage is dark and brooding, enhancing movement as well.
