Scavenger Hunt from Life #189: Apr 27 - May 9

Jo, thanks for your comments. I would think pastels would be a little messy at PT, but then I think they are messy no matter where I would use them. ;)

Ai, I love the rotary phone sketch. You did such a good job on the buttons and the coiled cord. I have a rotary one at home that I don't use. It is the slimmer princess model.

Robin, popcorn was a good edible choice. Maybe it is the fact that I'm hungry, but the shape of the one on the left reminds me of a chicken. lol

Pine Cone, many thanks for all your comments and emogis on my sketches. I think you managed to comment on all of them.😁

Ai -- I remember those phones with the "fancy" push buttons. We had one for a while after the "rotary dial" one.

Pine Cone -- for more than 25 years, every time my foot first touches the beach I think to myself "feet in sand!". For me that means a good day and somehow the day is a success no matter anything else. :)

Fletch -- yay on the pen. Good job on it.

Robin -- like the multicolors in the popcorn!

Joan thanks for hosting. I hope the bridges get fully open for summer! That's a great sketch.

Ai, I must be sleepy, you said rotary phone and I believed you! I think that is a touch tone phone. I'm smiling. Good job on it and the cord. Thanks for your comments.

Robin, mmmmm, great popcorn. Looks buttery.

Pine Cone, your comments are like reading an art review article. Thank you so much. Happy to see you here.

Hi Ned.

Joan, yes pastels can be messy. Not nearly as bad as charcoal for me. I think in a sketchbook they would need slick paper between or just do one side and use it only for pastels. I'm thinking how I would like to do it. When I do plein air I put the paper on foam core and put another on top and tape or close with clips until I get home. In the meantime no sketches at all, dang. Thanks for this Hunt. See you all on the new one. Waving.....

Jo, Ned, Pinecone, Joan: Thanks much

Jo: Thanks for having high trust in my words...ha

Joan: Thanks so much for hosting

Ned, thanks. I wish there was a place where I could sit to sketch the other bridge while they are working on it...but there is no place to park with a view.

Jo, hope you get to sketch more in the next hunt.

Ai, see you and everyone else in Robin's new hunt.

Joan — Thanks for hosting again, and for lots of inspiration and good vibes 😄

I love this simple joy 😄

JoC - Thanks so much 😄

Pine Cone, glad the good vibes are reaching you. Neds words are simple but true. That's how I feel too. He expressed it well.
