Painted yesterday, oil on wood, size: 18x24 cm.
Meanwhile at the cabin I went to check a castle nearby (Turku Castle) and decided to paint just a small study instead of entire structure.

Thanks for looking. 🎨

Jade, I'm so tired for pleinair that I might take a break of painting outdoors.
Also, I slipped and fell on a wet bathroom floor when stepping out of sauna and for a moment I thought I had broken a knee or something but only got a black foot, thank goodness. I still went to paint with a swallowed foot yesterday, almost couldn't fit the foot in a sniker. But today it's okay, only colored black.🖤

It sounds like maybe a breaks in order. Then you might enjoy it more when you get back to it. 🤔
Yikes.. I'm sorry to hear about your foot! I hope you feel better soon ❤️‍🩹

Ps the photos are lovely. That entrance is really nice. 👌

You did a great job on that old door, Grapes, especially when you had to stand on a swollen foot! Hopefully you can put it up and put some ice on it today. There are so many painting possibilities at that location and maybe you can go again when you feel better.

I really like the texture in the door, and don't know how you can paint outdoors and get such good results. I love historical sites and this looks very interesting.
